Кодований геном білок за функціями належить до трансфераз, кіназ, тирозинових протеїнкіназ, фосфопротеїнів. Задіяний у таких біологічних процесах, як апоптоз, клітинна адгезія, пошкодження ДНК, репарація ДНК, ендоцитоз, автофагія, ацетилювання, альтернативний сплайсинг. Білок має сайт для зв'язування з АТФ, нуклеотидами, іонами металів, ДНК, іоном магнію, іоном марганцю. Локалізований у цитоплазмі, цитоскелеті, ядрі, мембрані, мітохондрії.
