Кодований геном білок за функціями належить до трансфераз, кіназ, рецепторів, тирозинових протеїнкіназ, фосфопротеїнів. Задіяний у таких біологічних процесах, як транскрипція, регуляція транскрипції, альтернативний сплайсинг. Білок має сайт для зв'язування з АТФ, нуклеотидами, з молекулою гепарину. Локалізований у клітинній мембрані, цитоплазмі, ядрі, мембрані, цитоплазматичних везикулах.
