Кодований геном білок за функціями належить до трансфераз, глікозилтрансфераз. Задіяний у таких біологічних процесах як транскрипція, регуляція транскрипції, пошкодження ДНК, репарація ДНК. Білок має сайт для зв'язування з НАД, іонами металів, іоном цинку, ДНК. Локалізований у ядрі.
