Задіяний у таких біологічних процесах, як апоптоз, регуляція трансляції, транспорт, вуглеводний обмін, метаболізм глікогену, нейрогенез, обмін глюкози, ацетилювання, альтернативний сплайсинг. Білок має сайт для зв'язування з АТФ, нуклеотидами. Локалізований у клітинній мембрані, цитоплазмі, ядрі, мембрані.
