Жан-Крістоф Балуе (фр. Jean-Christophe Balouet; нар. 12 листопада 1956 — 31 березня 2021) — французький палеонтолог. Співпрацював з Сторрсом Олсоном зі Смітсонівського інституту. Вивчав вимерлих птахів та рептилій з Нової Каледонії, Тонги та інших тихоокеанських островів.. У співавторстві він описав види Accipiter efficax, Accipiter quartus, Porphyrio kukwiedei, Tyto? letocarti, , Rhynochetos orarius, та Megapodius molistructor. Балуе також знайшов залишки карликового крокодила та вимерлий рід черепахи Meiolania в Новій Каледонії. У 1987 році описав гігантського голуба Ducula david з Тонги.
